This Little Light of Mine

Church inspired to share the light - of mini-bulbs
<!--subtitle--><!--byline--> <!--date-->

 Passing Out Light Bulbs "This Little Light of Mine" is going to shine around Castle Rock - as a new "creation care" church handed out energy-efficient mini-bulbs at Paintbrush Park on Saturday.

The Genesis Church, a small, not-quite-1-year-old Southern Baptist congregation, distributed 1,000 lead-free, longer-lasting light bulbs.

Pastor Rand Clark recruited about two dozen community-minded Baptist teens from McKinney, Texas, to help hand out bulbs for the "This Little Light" project.

"It's the biblical thing to do," Clark said. "It's not just because scientists tell us to do it."
