Women’s Ministry

The mission of the Women’s Ministry at Genesis Church is to create an environment where women in our community can be genuine, kind-hearted and accepting of one another.

We define these principles as:

* Genuine – allowing others to see the “real you” without pretense, prejudice or judgments.
* Kind-Hearted – having a heart of compassion as Christ did and helping others in need.
* Accepting – realizing that we all fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23)

In 2010 we will work to accomplish our mission through

* Fellowshipping during Ladies Night Out, Women’s Teas, Fellowship Dinners, Scrapbooking and other craft interests.
* Helping out in local community events, participating in bake sales to raise funds and being part of “Needlarts for a Cause” (where we join our needleart talents to help charities)
* Encouragement, bible studies and prayer.

We encourage ladies of all ages in our community to join us at Genesis Church to get to know one another and bring out the Christ in each other.
